How it works

“I would love to have a vegetable garden but….”

How many times have we said those very words, but didn’t know how to start?  Well now you can.  Having your very own fresh vegetable garden will give you the joy of knowing you are eating great tasting food that’s great for you and your family.   Give us a call and we can get you started.

There are several options to choose from.

Option 1: We install simple raised beds containing the proper growing medium and plants to establish a fresh garden. We plant, you water and watch your garden come to life. You can add option 3 and we will tend the garden for you, leaving  delicious produce in a basket by your door.

Option 2: Convert your entire backyard into a growing paradise.  If your tired of mowing and watering your lawn which is not edible this is a great option.  I have personally converted my backyard into a beautiful edible garden. I love sitting on the back porch watching life grow in front of me. Most of the produce pictures you see on this site are from gardens just like the one you will receive.

Option 3: Rent a Gardener” program.  Imagine having your own personal vegetable gardener who will tend your garden on a weekly basis leaving  delicious produce in a basket by your door.

Option 4: Share a Garden.  Why not share the cost of the garden with friends, neighbors or family members. Don’t let financial restraints stand in your way. Sharing makes it affordable for everyone.

Option 5: Give a garden – Get a garden.   If you give a garden from the Give a Garden project to a needy family, you will receive your very own garden.

These gardens are given to recipients who make a difference in their community, but are struggling themselves. We have found many people end up benefiting from just one garden because of these wonderful individuals.

The gardens they receive end up benefiting the recipients and community  for many years, thus making it one of the best investments a person can make.

Make a difference Today. for your family, for your neighbor, or for your community.

Call Quick Gardens and get the help you need to start your very own fresh tasting garden. I was one of the best investments I have ever made and I’m confident it will be for you also.

I am an urban backyard farmer in Orlando, Florida who after biting into my first fresh tomato, got hooked to growing my own food. It started with one tomato plant indoors and took off from there.  Grocery store produce can be expensive, tasteless and dangerous. Who knows how many people, animals and things touched the produce before it ended up in my grocery bag. Unfortunately like most people I live in a neighborhood with small lawns and houses all around me. With all these limitations I had to figure out how was I going to grow my own food.  I’m actually surprised at the results. I get hungry every time I talk about it. Yummy !.  I’ll never buy a store bought tomato again.

I live in St. Pete, Fl. I have a balcony, on the second floor of my apartment. I really want to start growing my own food, but I don’t know where to begin. I don’t even know when is the best time to start. Do you have any suggestions for websites or books on how to actually start and when?
